Now you group several points into a single location and see the forecast for all of them in the same chart, with a band showing the spread between them and the option to highlight the ones you want to compare closely.
Almost nobody operates at a single point. It's the berths along a quay, the towers along a transmission line, the buoys down the access channel. Each of those places has its own conditions, and the decision usually applies to all of them at once.
To find out how the wind was at each one, you would open a point, look at it, switch to the next one, and compare them in your head.
Now you can group those points into a single location, the multipoint, and see them all in the same chart.
On the Locations screen, multipoint is a new type, alongside Point and Area. You group as many points as you want, from one to dozens, give the set a name, and treat it all as a single location. It shows up in the list with the "Multipoint" type and the number of points, it works with the type filter, and it has the same edit and delete actions.
Under "Create Location", pick "Multipoint". From there you have three options:
In the panel, the points are numbered. You can rename a standalone point with the pencil, so it reads "Berth 3" instead of "Point 4", drag it to adjust its position, and delete the last one with Delete or Ctrl+Z.
When you add a point that was already saved, the multipoint keeps a link to it, not a copy. In practice, that means three things:
With three location types on the map, keeping a separate icon for each geometry stopped making sense. The Forecast screen now has a "Create" button in the left column, with four options and a line explaining each one: Event, Point, Area, and Multipoint.
The same menu is in the popup footer, when you click a coordinate, a saved point, or an area. So you can create a multipoint without leaving the Forecast screen.
The points in the set show up as numbered hexagonal markers, with no line connecting them, since the order between them doesn't matter.
Multipoint also made it into the usual controls. There's "Multipoints" in the type filter, each set shows up in the "Show/hide locations" panel with its own eye, and in the map clip a single point inside the clip is enough to keep the whole set visible. In search, it comes up by name with its number of points, and also when you type the coordinate of any of its points.

When you click a marker, the panel opens in Aggregate mode. Instead of several colored lines competing for attention, the chart shows:
To highlight a point, just click its row in the legend or the curve itself. There's no limit to how many, and a highlight's color doesn't change when you drop another one. That way you can compare only what matters, berth 1 against berth 7, for example, instead of looking at everything at once.
You read the band the same way as in the area forecast, except now across points. When it's narrow, your points are behaving alike and the decision holds for the whole set. When it's wide, there's a point doing much worse than the average suggests, and looking at only one of them would hide that risk.
The rest of the panel is what you already know. The tooltip lists every point, with the selected one first and in bold. The legend shows each point with its color and flags the ones with no forecast. You pick one variable at a time in the sidebar, switch the source in the model selector, and look up past forecasts with the calendar. If any point falls outside the models' coverage, the panel tells you how many.
Comparing is one thing, going into detail is another. In the panel header there's the "View mode" option, which switches between "Aggregate", the default, and "Single point".
In "Single point", the selected point is treated as an ordinary forecast point, with everything that comes with it: the full variable sidebar, wave and level included, Probability, Sensor, Combined forecasts, the Event tab, and the share, download, and table actions. To switch points, click another marker in the set. The mode you choose is saved for next time.
Your operation happens in several places at once, and now the forecast does too. You set up the group once, see the points on the map, and read in one go the range of conditions across them, which one is worst, and the two or three you want to compare closely. When you need the detail, just switch to the single point.
