Now you select a location on the map, open the Event tab, and see every operation rule registered there: each one's status right now, the occurrence windows for the next 5 days, and the next occurrence. One click draws the event on the chart.
Every operation lives with rules: the safe window for berthing, the wind limit for lifting, the condition that halts work on the pier. In i4cast, those rules are events — and until today, to know how each one would behave over the coming days, you had to check them one by one on the chart.
From now on, the question "how are my events at this location?" has a single answer, on a single screen.
On the Forecast screen, when you select a location on the map — a forecast point, a saved area, or a free coordinate — the meteogram panel gains a new tab: "Event". It opens the "Select event" view, a table with every event registered at that location.
Each row tells the event's whole story without you opening anything:
The status chip answers the most urgent question — is the condition happening? — with three states:
By default, the table sorts by urgency: what's active first, then what's forecast (nearest first), and finally what has no occurrence. The most critical is always at the top.
Not every active event is bad news. A restrictive rule (a condition that hinders the operation) reads red when active now, amber when forecast in the period, green with no occurrence. A permissive rule (a favorable condition, like an operating window) flips the ends: active now is green, no occurrence is red.
The status chip is what carries that meaning. The occurrence-bar segments, in turn, always use the event's registered color — the same one it's drawn with on the chart, so you recognize it from one place to the other.
Click the row and the event goes to the chart: the panel returns to the meteogram with the event's windows drawn right below it, aligned with the chart's timeline. This works for all three location types — forecast point, saved area, and free coordinate.
To switch events, just reopen the "Event" tab and pick another. And each row's "⋯" menu offers "View details", opening the rule's full condition tree so you can check exactly how the event was registered.
The "View events on the chart" link you already know stays in the same place, with the same behavior: it remains the way to apply a rule registered at another of your company's locations to the current point.
Every operation has its own priorities. Using the grip on the left of each row, you drag events into whatever order you prefer — and that order is saved for you, at that location, between visits. Events created afterwards land at the top of the list, so they never go unnoticed.
For area events, results can take a few moments to be ready after an edit. In those cases, the row shows a processing state and the panel refreshes itself every 30 seconds until the result arrives — no need to close and reopen. If one event's computation fails, its row says so in a friendly way and the others keep working normally.
Your operation's rules now have a panel worthy of them: select the location, open the Event tab, and read, all at once, what's active, what's coming in the next 5 days, and when. One click draws any event on the chart. Less rule-by-rule checking, more view of the whole.
